Patrick’s practice consists of construction and professional liability litigation, with an emphasis in defending real estate developers, home builders, contractors, brokers and agents, escrow companies, and design professionals in State and Federal Courts and various alternative dispute resolution procedures. Patrick has tried and arbitrated multiple cases to conclusion, including serving as lead trial counsel in a July 2016 San Diego County jury trial which resulted in a complete defense judgment for his client. He has also served as a continuing legal education presenter concerning the defense of construction defect claims, and has provided risk management presentations to real estate brokers and agents. Patrick also has significant appellate experience; briefing and arguing matters before the California Court of Appeal and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
